if you don't know where you are going,

any road will get you there.

a man practices the art of adventure when he breaks the chain of routine

and renews his life through reading new books,

traveling to new places, making new friends,

taking up new hobbies, and adopting new viewpoints.

i take it not only a day at a time,
but a moment at a time.
and keep it at that pace.
if you can be happy right now,
then you'll always be happy,
because it's always in the now.

we are friends and i do like to pass the day with you

in serious and inconsequential chatter. 

i wouldn't mind washing up beside you,

dusting beside you,

reading the back half of the paper while you read the front.
