currently listening to: bad girls by M.I.A.

roy
you handsome grecian jesus. watching you consistently black out every night of summer 2010 was a pleasure, but i am even more grateful for the happy coincidence that we went abroad together. i think we really became close friends that one long afternoon in telepizza over two larges and a side of cheesy bread. there is no one i would rather have bump me off a podium into a sea of aggressive pervy spaniards. you can pull off white pants and a hot pink button up shirt better than any man i know. you are one of the most genuine and honest people i know, and those are difficult qualities to possess and maintain. i know i can count on you for an unfiltered opinion when i need one, or simply quiet company when that's what's called for. you're very intelligent, but always humble and your kindness is very unique. sometimes we barely remember our conversations, but based on past precedent we can just assume they were good ones. now i make you this promise: i'll hit any dance floor with you any time, and i'll always do my best to fill in the details of the nights you can't remember.  i am so happy you're in my life and i'm excited to see where your future takes you babe.

currently listening to: only love by anthony green

tonight, darling, we are going to right a lot of wrongs.

thomas edison's last words were "it's very beautiful over there."
i don't know where "there" is, but i believe it's somewhere,
and i hope it's beautiful.

what a treacherous thing,
to believe that a person is more than a person.

imagining the future is a kind of nostalgia.
you spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth
thinking about how you'll escape it one day
and how awesome it will be
and imagining that future keeps you going
 but you never do it.
you just use the future to escape the present.
